WHAT I'M FIGHTING FOR
protecting your rights
At the core of my service is a thorough commitment to protect your God-given unalienable rights. Government exists to secure our freedom, not grant it. These freedoms depend on strong, trustworthy institutions that stay within their proper role. I evaluate every policy with this question: “Does this policy protect your ability to control your own life, liberty, and property?” I will only defend or challenge issues where these fundamental rights are at stake, ensuring that the government remains a safeguard of freedom
CORRECTING THE RISING COST OF LIVING
Property taxes and affordable housing go hand-in-hand and are deeply rooted into the cost of living in Utah. Today, housing is just too expensive for too many families, and the residents of our great State. We will not become a state of renters so long as I represent you!To bring costs down, Utah must build more housing, but in the right way. This means ensuring that we have high-quality contractors producing up-to-code homes whilst reducing unnecessary burdens and regulations that drive up costs and slows down construction. We all want our families to grow their own families right here at home. This can only happen if we ensure their access to the same blessings of home ownership that we have.
FIGHTING THE RISE OF PROPERTY TAXES
Protecting property rights also means addressing the growing burden of property taxes. For many Utah residents and families, rising property taxes threaten their ability to stay in the homes they’ve worked so hard to earn. We can solve this issue, together. The state has the tools and the authority needed to bring the relief the people of Utah need. Smart, disciplined State action can protect homeowners while maintaining essential public services.
defending the republic
Protecting your rights, correcting our cost of living, and fighting taxes means nothing if we don’t defend the republic. Too many people today love or hate policy based on it’s results and not it’s process. There is a constitutional way to do everything. Too many policies at the federal and state level give some what they want while violating the constitution and eroding trust in our institutions. I’m committed to ensuring all branches of government remain equal. I also oppose legislation that blurs the lines. We need clear separation of powers.

I will work on legislation that is meant to make your life better and will reduce & stabilize your household costs. I will protect and enhance the separation of powers to ensure our public is stronger. In short, I will fight everyday for your rights to be protected, not by government, but from government.
